Vishesh Bhatt is member of Bhatt family and a proud son of Mukesh Bhatt. He has been assisting his father in filmmaking for last few years and now has finally decided to be on the front. Murder 3 depicts Randeep Hooda as Vikram who works as a fashion cum wild-life photographer in South Africa. He receives a huge work offer from India so he decides to move from Capetown, SA to Mumbai. He has a girlfriend Roshni (played by Aditi Rao Hydari) who lives in SA. Although she is a well-established lady in the country but still moves along with her love. However, almost immediately after shifting to India she gets an idea that Vikram is not as trustworthy as she wanted him to be. Roshni decides to test his devotion so she makes a plan but in a little while she gets trapped in her own plan as Vikram meets Nisha (played by Sara Loren) and makes a relationship with her. Between this all, Roshni suddenly disappears somewhere and no body knows where she is. At the same time as Vikram and Nisha are busy in growing their love, the police doubts on Vikram and chases him for his ex-girlfriend's unexpected disappearance.

There are many filmmakers in Hindi cinema who believes in taking ideas from foreigner’s movies. Same applies for Vishes films as it’s been long now, they are considered for copying scripts from all over the world’s movies, also this time with Murder 3 they are basically representing a Spanish movie- The Hidden Face. Though, in order to give it an Indian look, Vishesh Bhatt trims down the value of the narrative.
Like any suspenseful story, Murder 3 has the twists and turns that are important but indeed funnier in this movie. The sudden change in Roshni’s thinking and her decision to test her boyfriend is so unexpected and drastic that she only gets reduced to a tedious bimbo and reminds laugh nervously from the viewers instead of attention-grabbing you to the movie.
What gives from Murder 3
With his debut Murder 3, Vishesh Bhatt gives you an idea about his skills in the way he turns the first mysterious happenings such as the waves in the water, weird and wonderful sounds from the washbasin or the clattering windows in reasonable actions. Sunil Patel has done a great job with his camera-work. Moreover, the background score helps in strengthening the nervousness and stress.
If we review the acting perspective, then Randeep Hooda is just okay in his character and has really nothing much to do. Aditi Rao Hydari is good in Murder 3 and gives dazzling performance in movie’s second half. Sara Loren is a hotter addition in the industry and she has proved her as a good actress too. Pritam has given a good music composition and leaves an extraordinary impact on your ears.
Overall, Murder 3 grasps the only attention in his title that pulls the audiences to the cinema houses. It is certainly not the movie which makes you bite your nails or beings you an edgy suspense.
