He appeared with his debut ‘Shaitaan’ and showed his extraordinary talent of creative story narration and resourceful camera works. This time he is back with David- one more visually attractive story narration. Let’s review the movie to find out how it going to work for the filmmaker. Bejoy Nambiar shows three different men having same name ‘David’ in the movie. Neil Nitin Mukesh depicts David of 1975 who is the man of a terrible criminal Ghani in London. He has a blind faith on him and believes that he owes a favor of him as he has elevated him as his own kid and can do anything for him. On the other hand, Ghani in next to no time smashes as phantoms of the history get nearer to disturb David enlightening a lie that Ghani provided for his little vulnerable brain.

Then we see David of 2010 played by Vikram. He is a fisherman who gets mockery by all recognized people in the city of Goa because his girlfriend dumped him discarded for someone else. He gets comfort in drinking and believes that his late father (played by Saurabh Shukla) converses to him. The situation continues until Roma (played by Isha Sharwani) enters his life and he starts loving for a second time. Conflict smacks at the same time as she appears to be his best friend's fiancée.

The movie then shows how these three men having same name ‘David’ seize up in the time bend and come in other’s era merely to hook up with each other.

After Bejoy Nambiar’s first movie ‘Shaitaan’ people started expecting a lot from him and his David only increased the expectation of the movie further. The filmmaker importantly used the bond of a father and son with subjects of vengeance, adore and forgiveness. . However Bejoy lets in the way is what does not pacify you particularly the last part where all three Davids hook up with each other almost by force. Nobody expects him to make much excitement on the subject of nothing and this is the reason he upsets. David also has a long duration which makes you bored.

Apart of the flaws in David, we can see some good point in the movie such as Black & White parts of London in 1975. They give the impression of a Hollywood movie. Then the realistic demonstration of rain-soaked streets of Bombay is simply terrific.

David is a visual enjoyment. Sreekar Prasad has done a good job at movie editing. Music is also good and Bejoy superbly mixes together a lot of songs from the album in the movie to provide a high cinematic experience. Although all three actors played well their parts at the role of David, but Vikram seems the best in all. Each blend and mode of his character is well presented and well performed by him. Even his fantasy talks with his father are cheerful and touch your heart. Neil Nitin Mukesh is next and leaves a good impact with his performance. Vinay Virmani is not really impressive with his role and comes into view of his debut film Speedy Singhs. Supporting actors like Saurabh Shukla and Tabu add beauty to the movie. Isha Sharwani looks glowing and acts well. Monica Dogra fails to give her 100 percent and her heavy dialogues make her part really matters worse. Lara Dutta is good and manages to perform well. Nishan Nanaiah and Rohini Hattangadi are also good in their parts.
